Johnsonville Fully Cooked Breakfast Sausage Links

logo

I recently joined CrowdTap & was excited to almost immediately be chosen to sample Johnsonville fully cooked breakfast sausage links.  OK, so Sean was over the moon, that kid loves him some sausage links.  I got the coupon & went off to try to find it…it took a good while before I actually found it in the store.  Walmart, Target, Harris Teeter all didn’t carry this particular product.  Or they don’t in my area.  Stopped by Food Lion yesterday & lo & behold, they had it.

So guess what we did for breakfast today?  lol  These sausage links are already cooked, so you really just need to heat them up.  they can be prepared in the microwave or on the stove top.  I cooked them both ways, just to see which way we liked better.

These went into the microwave:

These went on the stove (obviously lol)

We were kind of split on the way we liked better.  Sean liked them in the microwave, Nick thought they were a little rubbery.  Nick liked them better in the skillet & to be perfectly honest, I did too.

This was after they were cooked in the skillet.  I liked how much browner they got.

All in all, these were good prepared either way.  I like that Sean liked them in the microwave, as it only takes 30 seconds to cook them, so I can fix them for his breakfast before school.
