I tell ya, things have been nuts around here.  Between Nick having the stomach flu, then the boys getting sick, then us getting flu shots & Sean having his first turn-your-head-&-cough physicals, it’s been a little hectic.  Sean was hilarious when the doctor told him to drop his pants.  The look he gave me…PRICELESS.  He was laying on the table with his head toward me & the way he arched his neck to give me an upside down bug-eyed, mouth open WHAT DID HE JUST SAY???!!! look, I’m ashamed to admit, but I laughed.  And laughed.  And LAUGHED.  Oh MAN was that look hysterical.  We get home & I think it’s over, until we have supper.  Nick said something to Sean abt how his exam went & poor Sean goes purple in the face he’s so embarrassed & well, let’s just say that the conversation that followed had us ALL laughing like a bunch of loons.  I swear, my hubby & my kids are such BOYS.  Anyone that were to hear some of our suppertime conversations would swear we belonged in a loony bin.

My boys got their report cards the other day.  Justin got 4 A’s & 1 B, Sean got 3 A’s & 2 B’s!  Yeah, I’m a proud Mama.  And Justin lost another tooth Friday night.  We had parent/teacher conferences on Friday, too.  Both boys are doing great, Justin needs to work on being more organized & Sean needs to work on the talking (I KNOW!  I”m shocked by that, too!!!) & thinking he knows everything.  Sean’s teacher is from Alabama.  Love that!  So this morning I sent her a gallon of tea.

Speaking of sweet tea, are y’all ready for Thanksgiving (here is the US)?  Do you have any traditions /or foods that only happen on the holidays?  For me, it’s cornbread dressing.  My hubby is from Massachusetts & they just don’t do cornbread dressing.  I guess it’s a Southern thing.  But to me, it’s not Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner without cornbread dressing.  I’m the only one here who eats it, so what I do is make a big pan of it, then before I cook it, I separate it & freeze half of it.

Oh, y’all know I love Mickey Mouse, right?  I mean I am this side of obsessed with Mickey.  Well, yesterday was his 84th birthday!  Happy birthday to the world’s favorite mouse!!
