Report cards

We got report cards this week.  Well, Shane’s report card came & I had parent/teacher conferences with Sean & Justin’s teachers.  Can I saw wow?  I’m already super proud of Shane & his awesome report card.  But I talked to Justin’s teacher & he’s ahead of all the other kids in his class.  He’s the only one who recognizes all 26 letters, upper & lower case & the sounds, & with them being mixed up.  He is also the only one who knows his numbers 1-31 (that’s all they checked so far) even when they’re mixed up.  His teacher said that usually doesn’t come until later in the year.

Sean’s reading way ahead of his class, he’s super smart.  He finishes his work & then he goes & gets a book.  His main problems are his talking & the fact that he thinks he knows everything.  But he’s another one who’s super smart. And his teacher said she is just so touched by how he’s so sweet & caring.  He’s always right there when someone drops something or if they act like they need a friend.  And he is in the know.  Oh my stars.  My little social butterfly.  When Nick takes them to Dadventures, as they’re walking down the hallway it’s “Hey Sean” or “Hey Justin” left & right.  Dunno what I’m going to do with them!!

OK, time to go figure out dinner.  Our housing office is having a Halloween party tonight with refreshments (meaning cookies, cupcakes & TONS of candy) but these younguns are gonna eat before we go.  We’re gonna have candy coming out our ears.  2 Halloween parties & Trick or Treating?  SHEESH.  But at least we’re all well enough to go now.  Now if I can just catch up on my sleep……..
