We made it to Alabama!  And apparently we brought the rain with us.  Which is OK, they need the rain here.  It can rain buckets, as long as I can get all my running done.  We got in Sunday afternoon, early evening & it almost seems like we’ve been on the run ever since.  We ran for supper that night, then Monday we ran to the store, now today we have to run to the commissary.  Of course, the boys are having a BLAST with Nana & Grandaddy.  They also already made a friend of the boy from 2 doors down.  Bailey’s settling in as well.  She’s not too thrilled that she’s not allowed on the furniture here, but she’s getting over it.  She’s whacked Belle in the head with her tail quite a few times.  Belle’s reaction is kinda hilarious.  There’s a pit bull next door who I’m not sure what to think of yet.  He’s good with people, Mama’s said he tries to play with Belle (Belle’s having NO part of it) but with Bailey, it seems like he’s trying to show he’s the boss.  Bailey’s having no part of it.  She ignores him & tends to shy away.  Bailey’s just SO not confrontational.  She is, however, having a blast chasing the squirrels out of the yard.  And oh.  My.  GAWD at the number of squirrels.  Holy smokes!!!  I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many.  At least there’s no black squirrels.  We had those in Michigan & they creeped me out.  Had never seen them before I moved to MI.  *shudder*  OK, time to close this so we can run to the store.  Hopefully soon things’ll calm down so I can get in my scrapping groove.  I also have blog posts to write & some pretty big news in that area.  Soon!!  Ya’ll have a great one!
